Tic Tac Reveals Why He Would Never Offer Advice To Up And Coming Artists

Award winning Ghanaian hip-life musician Tic Tac has disclosed that he would never on any occasion offer advice to up and coming artistes

The only thing he can help them with is to urge them to work hard on their own, he said.

In an interview on News Extra aired on GHOne yesterday, Tic Tac said he took the decision not to give any young artiste a detailed advice regarding the industry.

According to him, when the young artistes become successful musicians, they do not acknowledge those who were helpful to them along their music journey.

“For the up and coming artiste, I just want to tell you to do more and to work hard."

"I mean in going deep to tell you what you have to do to survive I’m sorry,” he said.

Because after you get the artistes, advice them all these years and they make it big, they fail to respect, acknowledge or give gratitude to where it is deserved and this is bad,” Tic Tac explained.

The ‘Philomena’ hit maker added that the music industry now has become unhealthy because many people in it have become ungrateful with their attitudes.

“We are living in an industry that is breeding this kind of lifestyle and I don’t know where all this started from,” he lamented.

I just want to say that just have respect for people that you have met or at least borrowed something from or learned something from so that when we have a healthy environment, people will be willing to offer advice,” Tic Tac said.
