When people say things like, Dr Kelly hates Kuami Eugene. Why didn’t he talk about Flavor, Wizkid etc when they sampled other artistes work.

Let’s educate ourselves briefly on what showbiz is with case study, Shatta Wale.

First of all, no artiste has ever in the history of GH entertaiment had bad press era and bad publicity like Wale. We bashed him, we criticised him, we trolled, we teased. Some termed it hate…but he continued to break the rules and we bashed him more.

The more we talk about his bad deeds the more he gave us more. 3 years later, he gets free $3M. If you don’t know I’m telling you today that Shatta Wale gets calls and people just want to dash him $40k free. We so much talked about him that he can take $30k from a powerful body like CAF and not perform a single song. IT’S CALLED SHOWBIZ NOT HOLY EVANGELISM.

That’s is why we pundits talk. If you don’t know entertaiment, you will think it’s HATE, but I’ve been in this industry enough to know that, it doesn’t matter what you say or do. Handle the PR well, but let people talk about you. By all means give them news to talk. When the attention goes, your career also goes.

So like Shatta Wale, I will talk about Kuami Eugene’s talent and good deeds and blow his bad publicity out of proportion so that the world will hear about him.
