I keep wondering why people get angry anytime I raise this point– introduction of sex dolls will end the spread of STIs, teenage pregnancies and rape. Haven’t you figured it out yet?
I agree sex dolls are very expensive — they range between US $380.00 to $1,200.00 on online shops and most people can’t afford it.
I also understand it’s against the beliefs of some section of people — Christians. Yes of course I am a Christian and I believe in the existence of God but sometimes our beliefs cloud our sense of reasoning.
Just take a look at the problems we face in our society each day–Rape, Defilement, HIV/AIDs, Teenage pregnancies and other similar problems. Yes, we pray over it, give it to God and move on anytime there’s rape or defilement because we are scared little things.
But just imagine life with sex dolls, the problems we face will be reduced somehow. Most people would say, why sex dolls? I would rather go for a commercial sex worker but what about the negative effects after your one night stand?
Ghana recorded 1,296 defilement cases and 1,111 rape cases in 2015 which means something must be done. What about the sudden 80% increase of HIV/AIDS in 2017? As a country there are many ways of tackling these problems and one way, I believed, is these sex dolls.
