Tiktok CEO says His children Do Not Use TikTok

Shou Zi Chew, the CEO of TikTok, is currently appearing before Congress to explain why the app should not be banned in the United States due to concerns over national security.

However, in his own household, the 40-year-old Singaporean native has taken a contrasting stance - he does not allow his children to use the app.

Chew is providing testimony and responding to questions from lawmakers on Thursday. TikTok has faced scrutiny from both parties for years due to its Chinese origins.

Lawmakers have long raised concerns that the app poses a threat to national security, claiming that it may be providing the Chinese Communist Party with information on millions of

Americans, including their location, and increasing their access to disinformation.
